• Just continuing a discussion from a few days ago with someone who registered and subscribed to a single contract with MinerX. Our conversation highlighted the importance of stepping outside your comfort zone and avoiding a lackadaisical attitude.

I've always strived to learn from every situation I've encountered and share those lessons with others. Recently, I witnessed regret on this person's face as he compared his progress to his friend's success in the MinerX Bitcoin Mining Program. Interestingly, the friend had only $850 and borrowed $150 (from him) to get started, while this individual, who had promised to start soon, intentionally delayed for almost 40 days.

When I inquired about the reason for the delay, he cited past losses in various programs, including the crypto industry. Instead of sympathizing, I encouraged him to share some of these projects and then applied my 5Ps theory. Surprisingly, all of the projects and programs he's been involved in came out negative using the 5Ps.

After an extensive discussion, he acknowledged that his problems stemmed from lack of knowledge, refusal to learn from past mistakes, and failure to use those lessons to improve on future endeavors. This realization emerged when he compared his bitcoin mining progress to his friend's, who had started 40 days earlier. Unfortunately, the friend had only been introduced to the program through him; the friend was merely a tag along who took advantage of the opportunity.

As I always say, failure isn't failure until you refuse to learn from it and leverage those lessons as a stepping stone towards success. True failure lies in refusing to learn and stagnating in the process.

Ironically, as I write this, he just referred a friend who's subscribing to a shared contract. He was inspired and impressed by my target of 21 BTC through MinerX. For him, lost days are irretrievable, and lost profit was primarily due to a lack of knowledge – a result of self-induced ignorance.

Life is a teacher, and we continue to learn. When you need to act - Act!

  • Yesterday, I had a productive conversation with a dear friend. As always, I strive to see my close associates succeed, so I offered some advice.

She works for a financial institution, has a good salary, but feels time-constrained. I suggested investing in promising small businesses. These businesses often lack capital, and a small investment could significantly boost their income.

This came to mind because these small businesses can often double your investment within a year. They primarily lack capital, and with a modest injection of funds, they could potentially triple their annual income.

She acknowledged this but expressed reluctance. This resonated with me, as comfort zones hinder progress for everyone, not just entrepreneurs.

Anything we're doing this year that isn't actively advancing our goals likely stems from being in our comfort zone.

The Comfort Zone is a thief of time!

The Comfort Zone a major obstacle to success.

Don't let it hold you back.

    Take action now!

  • A CROCODILE SMILE

And Saul commanded his servants, saying, Commune with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king's son in law (1 SAMUEL 18:22)

Not too long ago, a country's army within the West African subregion launched an operation which is code-named, "Operation Crocodile Smile" in a particular region of the country to combat the frequent incidence of vandals sabotaging oil installations in the region. We all know that crocodiles don't smile; therefore, this code was used metaphorically to denote something more serious.

Saul, a master schemer, sent his servants to David to persuade him to become the king's son-in-law and to tell him how much the king and his servants loved him. Meanwhile, he was busy laying a terrible snare for his life. For the bride price, he asked for him for a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, intending to have him killed in the process of securing them. Against all odds, David got even more than what was required and Saul was compelled to give his daughter, Michal, in marriage to him. But this was the beginning of the games on his life.

Saul had been David's arch enemy right from the day he killed Goliath to dwarf his achievements and reputation as Israel's king. And when the women rose up in songs heralding the exploits of this young lad, Saul was envious, and unjustly planned to have David eliminated. He played nice in order to make him relax and not be on his guard so that he would kill him. But God delivered David from his evil plans.

As believers, we must realize that the murky waters of life are infested with hidden enemies like crocodiles, waiting to make a kill. Therefore, we should walk carefully and prayerfully under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to overcome in the battles of life. Through prayer and watchfulness, we must not succumb to the wiles of the devil.

  • A MESSAGE OF HOPE

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

Jesus came into this world in the most unusual way for a King. The circumstances surrounding His birth alone is a message to the whole world.

The Christmas message is a message of hope. It is a message which says that God can bring greatness out of a manger. It doesn’t matter how humble your background is; Jesus had a worse background just to show that you can soar high and rule notwithstanding your background. I am a living example of how Jesus can transform a nobody into somebody.

When I was growing up in my village, we were so poor that even the poor people in the village called us poor. When my father bought an umbrella, the entire family celebrated; that is how poor we were. I never wore shoes until I was eighteen years old, and those I wore on that day were borrowed. But today, because I met Jesus and I am doing His will, people celebrate me all over the world. There is nothing I want to eat or wear now that I cannot afford.

I tell you: the message of Jesus’ birth is a message of hope that your tomorrow shall be alright. Jesus could have chosen to come from the best tribe and place in Israel, but He chose Nazareth. Nazareth was the lowliest place in Israel, the slum as they would say in modern parlance.

Jesus coming from Nazareth tells us that God does not discriminate against the lowly so He made sure His son came from one of them. John 1:46 says: "…can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Some may have asked, "Can anything good come out of your family?".  The answer you should give them is “Yes, I am the good thing that is coming out of my family”.

Nazareth has become popular all over the world now because of Jesus. You will bring fame and blessings to your family in the mighty name of Jesus. The wise will tell you that if you want to achieve what someone has done before, then you should copy that person.

Copy Jesus. Read all that is recorded in the Bible about Him and just copy Him. Your greatness is assured in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, help me to emulate the very character of Jesus during His earthly ministry.

  • SIMPLY EXQUISITE

And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he make the both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak (Mark 7:37)

Every generation has produced some personalities who became outstanding in their chosen fields of endeavor. The list includes technocrats, sportsmen, clergymen, politicians , businessmen, academics and other professionals . Many have been to the point of near worship. Truly, many of them deserve the honor accorded them. But even the best of these people have their dark side. Some of them have skeletons in their cupboards and would be hated with passion if people get close enough to know who they really were and what they represented. But this not so with Jesus.

In His earthly life and ministry, the more closely people knew Him, the more amazed they felt about His innocence, loving-kindness and sheer power. The inhabitants of the Greek city of Decapolis said of Him, ”He hath done all things well”, when they observed His miraculous healing of a deaf and dumb man.

Their eloquent testimony agreed with friends and foes who encountered Christ. Of Him it was recorded, ”...who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil

...” Peter said of Him, ”who did no sin, neither was their guile found in his mouth.” Pilate confessed, ”I have examined him before you, have found no fault in this man.” The officers sent by the Chief Priests and Pharisees to arrest  Him heard him and went back to report that “Never man spake like this man.” When He asked, “which one of you convinces me of sin?” nobody came forward.

Christ is unique in every way. In His personality, passion and performance, He does all things well. Dying for your sins, He is the only worthy One to be our Savior and Lord. If you have found Him to be so, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in [Him]”. If not, then repent, forsake your sin, pick up your cross and follow Him.

  • CAN GOD CHANGE HIS MIND? II

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, l said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy fathers should walk before me forever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honor me I will honor, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. 1 Samuel 2:30

As evident in today’s Bible reading, when we go contrary to the will of God, He could decide not to fulfill His promises. I have always known God’s promises to me and my Father-in-the-Lord concerning the RCCG, yet, I did not just relax believing that regardless of what I do, He will fulfill it.

Has God made any promises to you?. That doesn’t give you the liberty to misbehave. If you offend Him, He can still change His mind.

In the Bible, Samuel is one person who had seen God change His mind severally. First, as a child, He witnessed how God rejected Eli, destroying his family and legacy in one night. He also saw how God rejected Saul after having chosen him by Himself. He saw how God chose a small boy to be king and tormented Saul even while still on the throne.

This made Samuel, in wisdom, decide never to offend God. His solid reputation is evident in his speech to the Israelites in 1 Samuel 12:3-4: "Behold, here I am: witness against me before the Lord, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken?, or whose ass have I taken?, or whom have I defrauded?, whom have I oppressed?, or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith?, and I will restore it you. And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man’s hand."

Samuel knew that if God changes His mind about blessing anyone, the end of such would be worse than ever so he refrained from displeasing God. Samson however, failed to play his part so he lost out on God’s promises over his life. I plead with you today, if you are sure about God’s promises for you and His great plan for your life, do everything possible to avoid offending Him.

Indeed, ears have not heard and eyes have not seen the greatness of God’s plan for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9).

    Don’t miss out on this.

Ask for God’s mercy and forgiveness in any area you might have offended Him. Commit to pleasing Him always and His promises over you would be fulfilled.

  • CAN GOD CHANGE HIS MIND? I

And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. Exodus 32:14

Anyone who God is against is doomed already. However, I have good news for you: God can change His mind if the conditions are right for Him to do so. In today’s Bible reading, God was ready to destroy the Israelites and start a new generation, but Moses was successful in his appeal.

What was in Moses' plea that made God change His mind?. First, Moses was pleading from the mountain. He had a special relationship with God. He was closer to God than the rest; he was a favorite. If you have incurred God’s wrath through sin, you stand a better chance of obtaining mercy by getting someone like Moses with a higher level of anointing, to plead on your behalf.

Secondly, Moses was not selfish in his plea. He was always particular about God’s name and reputation.  When you put His interest first, He listens. Moses said: "Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. Exodus 32:12".

Finally, Moses ensured the people repented and forsook their sins. God cannot be fooled. After forgiveness, you cannot continue doing what brought His wrath on you in the first place. Christian leaders, if any member of your flock is going astray, plead with God for such. If the fellow changes, you could discipline them before God does. God still punished the Israelites for transgressing despite not wiping them out.

This is why erring workers in the Church are sometimes suspended we don’t want God to mete out the punishment Himself. Man’s punishment cannot be as fearsome as God’s anger. It is true that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), but God does not want the death of a sinner (Ezekiel 18:23). If you confess your sins, repent and forsake them, God is faithful and just to forgive you and spare you His wrath. Indeed, He will not reject a broken and contrite heart (Psalms 51:17).

If you know you have incurred the wrath of God upon yourself, confess to a spiritual authority over you, who is closer to God, asking him/her to intercede on your behalf.

If you know you have incurred the wrath of God upon yourself, confess to a spiritual authority over you, who is closer to God, asking him/her to intercede on your behalf. by: Pastor E.A. • NO LONGER THE REJECTED STONE

And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: This was the Lords doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? (Mark 12:10,11)

It is only the fool who says in his heart that “there is no God” and argues that God is not the Lord over the universe. Even Nebuchadnezzar, who doubted God’s existence eventually acknowledged Him as “the most High...whose dominion is an everlasting dominion...” (Daniel 4:34).

The husbandman who took custody of the vineyard planted by a householder could not render the expected fruits at the appointed seasons. Instead, they ill-treated the messengers of the householder by killing some and injuring others. The last messenger was the heir of the man who is a reasoned they would reverence. Instead, they seized him and killed him and planned to take full ownership of the vineyard. But the Lord of the vineyard would come, destroy those wicked husbandmen and let out the vineyard to others.

The parable is about the continual and unreasonable assaults of the Jews on the servants of God - the prophets and Christ whom they eventually crucified. Jesus Christ was rejected and killed by those He came to save and show God’s perfect way. However, the Gentiles who were not His people embraced Him and were called God’s people. The consolation is, at the end of time, God’s people will reign with Him, singing and praising God for their redemption, and then it will be an everlasting joy for what the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ has accomplished among the inhabitants of the earth.

For now, the duty of every Christian is to make sure that he is among that happy crowd and work tirelessly to ensure he brings sinners to Christ by taking the gospel to them
