And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he make the both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak (Mark 7:37)

Every generation has produced some personalities who became outstanding in their chosen fields of endeavor. The list includes technocrats, sportsmen, clergymen, politicians , businessmen, academics and other professionals . Many have been to the point of near worship. Truly, many of them deserve the honor accorded them. But even the best of these people have their dark side. Some of them have skeletons in their cupboards and would be hated with passion if people get close enough to know who they really were and what they represented. But this not so with Jesus.

In His earthly life and ministry, the more closely people knew Him, the more amazed they felt about His innocence, loving-kindness and sheer power. The inhabitants of the Greek city of Decapolis said of Him, ”He hath done all things well”, when they observed His miraculous healing of a deaf and dumb man.

Their eloquent testimony agreed with friends and foes who encountered Christ. Of Him it was recorded, ”...who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil

...” Peter said of Him, ”who did no sin, neither was their guile found in his mouth.” Pilate confessed, ”I have examined him before you, have found no fault in this man.” The officers sent by the Chief Priests and Pharisees to arrest  Him heard him and went back to report that “Never man spake like this man.” When He asked, “which one of you convinces me of sin?” nobody came forward.

Christ is unique in every way. In His personality, passion and performance, He does all things well. Dying for your sins, He is the only worthy One to be our Savior and Lord. If you have found Him to be so, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in [Him]”. If not, then repent, forsake your sin, pick up your cross and follow Him.

  • She went for a formal interview with hookup vibes! So many applicants aren't properly groomed for some corporate jobs, they rely on who referred them or just wanna go there to seduce the Chairman!

Sadly, she may not get such opportunity again. There is never a second chance to make a first impression.

  • What is this country turning into?
Imagine a graduate saying, ‘driver I want to stop at the next bus stop’
    Worse blunder❕

Instead of saying "driver please can you kindly without hesitating, or any form of trash pre-stoplogically apply the technical effective break in a professional manner that my humble personality can progressively alight, in a stable motion to terminate my journey at next bus stop? 😌

    Perfect and respectful. πŸ€πŸ™‚ 🀣 🀣

  • T*The Need for a More Humane Society in Nigeria*

    Dr. Tokunbo Akeredolu-Ale (PhD DBA)

Nigeria, often referred to as the "Giant of Africa," is a nation with immense potential and a rich cultural heritage. However, it faces numerous challenges on its path to becoming a more humane society. To understand the need for this transformation, we must examine key areas where Nigeria can strive for improvement.

    1. **Human Rights**: One of the most pressing issues is the violation of human rights. Incidents of police brutality, extrajudicial killings, and arbitrary detentions have sparked outrage both domestically and internationally. The #EndSARS protests in 2020 shed light on these problems. Nigeria must prioritize reforms in its law enforcement agencies to ensure the protection of citizens' rights and end impunity.

    2. **Corruption**: Corruption remains a significant obstacle to Nigeria's development. Rampant corruption affects all aspects of society, from healthcare to education, and undermines trust in government institutions. A more humane society requires robust anti-corruption measures, transparency, and accountability at all levels of governance.

    3. **Education**: Access to quality education is a fundamental right, yet millions of Nigerian children still lack proper schooling. Many schools are underfunded and poorly equipped, leading to a subpar education system. To build a more humane society, Nigeria must invest in education, prioritize teacher training, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.

    4. **Healthcare**: Access to adequate healthcare is a basic human need. Unfortunately, Nigeria's healthcare system faces numerous challenges, including inadequate infrastructure and a shortage of medical professionals. To create a more humane society, the government must allocate more resources to healthcare, improve facilities, and ensure affordable healthcare services for all citizens.

    5. **Unemployment**: High youth unemployment rates are a significant concern. Many young Nigerians struggle to find meaningful employment opportunities, leading to frustration and disillusionment. Addressing this issue involves promoting entrepreneurship, investing in vocational training, and creating an enabling environment for job creation.

    6. **Poverty**: Poverty remains a widespread problem in Nigeria, with millions living below the poverty line. A more humane society requires effective poverty alleviation programs, social safety nets, and economic policies that prioritize equitable wealth distribution.

    7. **Infrastructure**: Nigeria's infrastructure is often inadequate, hindering economic development and citizens' daily lives. The government must invest in critical infrastructure projects, such as roads, electricity, and public transportation, to enhance the quality of life for its citizens.

    8. **Unity and Diversity**: Nigeria is a diverse nation with various ethnicities, religions, and cultures. To build a more humane society, it's crucial to foster unity and celebrate this diversity while promoting tolerance and understanding among different groups.

    9. **Women's Rights**: Gender inequality persists in Nigeria, affecting women's access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Empowering women through policies that promote gender equality is essential for a more humane society.

    10. **Environmental Sustainability**: Nigeria faces environmental challenges, including deforestation, pollution, and climate change impacts. Protecting the environment and adopting sustainable practices is vital for the well-being of future generations.

In conclusion, Nigeria has the potential to become a more humane society where the rights and well-being of all citizens are respected and protected. Achieving this transformation requires a collective effort from government, civil society, and individuals. By addressing these pressing issues, Nigeria can unlock its full potential and fulfill its promise as the "Giant of Africa."

  • Hello all,

This is to inform you that the goal set based on our Timeline for this week has being fully achieved today Thurs 9th Aug, 2023.

The Verification Module(User) which was set for 7/8/2023 was achieved a week earlier, as it was needed to get people who seek to be verified early achieve their goal, after registering to become a Pro User.

All the GDPR Module which gives you absolute control over your account have also being implemented. These include ability to Delete your Account, Consent Cookie which allow you to determine how you want the system to act with your personal computer or Mobile Phones. Having access to Download all your User Information without any restriction from the organisation.

Now you have access to professionally edit your Profile, to make it meet up with formal and informal expectations either for professional, educational, career or social reasons. Aside the Basic requirement earlier, you can now add about you, your relationship status, your website, your work, location and educational info, social link as well as ability to personally design your profile as you wish.

Lastly we have implemented the Geo-location capabilities which allow you to access information based on your location.

So, the only two extra Milestone which are restricted to Users' support of helping us to reach the goal of 1000 Users and 10 Paid Pro Users this week, is what remains. We would surely implement the cloud technology as well as the Photo Album, if you help us achieve this.

Congratulations! to all of us. Now you can login into your account and start taking advantage of this new features!
