• No Skill Is Useless, I Learned That the Hard Way
I remember years ago, I met this woman who sold fried yam and akara beside a mechanic workshop.

I was curious, so I asked her:
    “Mama, how’s business?”
    She smiled and said,
“My pikin dey school for university. Na this akara dey pay his school fees.”

That moment changed how I saw "small skills."
Here I was thinking I needed one big office job or one tech degree before I could earn well...

    But this woman?
She used the skill in her hands to build something solid.

    Let’s be honest.
So many of us can: Cook delicious meals, Fix things, Sew, Bake, Write, Teach, Sell
…but we don’t see them as “serious” skills because they don’t come with suits or certificates.

    Here’s the truth:
No skill is inferior. What matters is how you use it.
What most people need is not another degree or training…

    They need to learn:
✅ How to package what they already know
✅ How to talk about it in a way that attracts value
✅ How to position themselves where money is flowing

    And guess what?
The internet doesn’t reward the most skilled.
It rewards the most visible and the most valuable.
So don’t despise what you know how to do.

If mama akara can build a life with hot oil and pepper,
You too can build something real with what’s already in your hands.
Tell me, what do you sabi do?

Let’s chat. Maybe it’s time you turned it into steady income.
Comment below or send a message, I’m open to share what’s worked for me and others.

  • What You Really Need to Know About Making a Fortune Online With Just a Skill

    Let’s be real…
    We’ve all heard this cliché:

“Use your skill to make money online.”
But nobody tells you HOW or what it actually takes.

I know, because I used to be that person…

    💭 Full of skills
    💡 Full of ideas
But struggling to turn any of it into consistent income

Yes, you might know how to:
    a. Bake the softest cakes in your area.
    b. Write like Chimamanda
    c. Fix phones in minutes
    d. Or sew styles that even Instagram boutiques would envy…

    But here’s the hard truth:

    If nobody knows you…
If you can’t show the VALUE of what you do…
If you don’t understand how to present, promote, and position yourself online…

Then you're just another talented person… stuck, broke, and overlooked.

So what does it REALLY take to make money online with your skill?

    1. SKILL: You must be good at something. No shortcuts.

    2. PACKAGING: Your offer must look valuable before it’s even bought.

    3. MARKETING: You need to learn how to talk about what you do so people listen (and pay).

    4. MONETIZATION: Know where your skill is needed… and how to position yourself to get paid for it.

    5. VISIBILITY: If you’re not showing up online, you’re leaving money on the table.

    Let’s be clear:
People are earning from “ordinary” skills every day —
Because they’ve learned the extra steps most people skip.

    This is not about hype.
    It’s about strategy and clarity.

If you have a skill and you’re not earning from it,
The problem is NOT the skill…
It’s that you haven’t learned the business side of it yet.

You don’t need a new course or a new hustle.
You just need to learn how to sell what you already know.

The internet doesn’t reward the most skilled.
It rewards the most visible and the most strategically valuable.

So if you’re done waiting, tired of confusion, and ready to start earning from what you already have…

    💬 Let’s connect.
    📩 Let’s talk.
    Let me show you how.

    I’m Adeoke Olanrewaju,
And I help people turn their skills to cash without fluff, hype, or overwhelm.

You already have what it takes.
Now it’s time to use it wisely.

  • Sow Righteousness

...he who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. (Proverbs 11:18, NIV)

God’s kingdom operates on a system of sowing and reaping. Have you heard the saying, “What goes around, comes around?” That’s really a spiritual principle. What you sow, you will reap. Today’s verse tells us that when we sow righteousness, we’ll reap a sure reward.

What does that mean? Sowing righteousness simply means doing the right thing in the sight of God. It’s obeying the Word no matter what the circumstances may look like. It means showing kindness even when it’s undeserved. It’s walking in love and keeping the peace when you really want to say something different. When you sow righteousness, you’ll reap a sure reward. That’s because God Himself is going to pay you back. He is the One who will multiply you when you honor Him.

Today, keep doing the right thing even if the wrong thing is happening. Sow righteousness. Stay in faith. Keep believing because He who promised is faithful, and there’s a sure reward in store for you!

Father, thank You for setting up a system that blesses me as I bless others. Show me how to sow righteousness today so I can honor You in all I do in Jesus name. Amen.

  • IJOGBON, Nigeria’s Oil & the Burden of a Misunderstood Blessing

Last night, I watched IJOGBON on Netflix and it left me with a lump in my throat.

On the surface, it’s a story about teenagers who stumble upon wealth that was never meant for them.

But beneath that storyline lies something deeper, raw, and hauntingly familiar: a powerful metaphor for Nigeria’s oil story.

Like those teens, Nigeria stumbled upon crude oil. It was shiny. It was valuable. It felt like an answer to all our problems.

But like IJOGBON shows, not all wealth brings peace especially when it’s mishandled, misunderstood, or not rightfully earned.

In the movie, the teens were dragged into chaos because they were never taught what to do with what they found. No systems. No protection. Just instinct, survival, and fear.

    Sound familiar?

    Here's what I couldn't stop thinking about:

Nigeria’s oil should have been our greatest blessing; an opportunity to invest in people, diversify the economy, and become a beacon of African prosperity.

Instead, it became a curse for many.
    Especially the host communities.

We see the scars in the Niger Delta:
Polluted rivers where people used to fish
Flaring skies where children used to sleep in peace
Youths who have energy but no empowerment
Elders who beg oil companies for basic welfare
A country that exports wealth but imports poverty

The truth is... Oil is not a curse. Our choices are.
The blessing was never in the black gold itself. It was in how we were meant to use it to develop human capital, empower regions like the Niger Delta, and build a future beyond barrels.

What IJOGBON reminded me of is this:
If we don’t build strong systems around opportunity, it will destroy us faster than poverty ever could.

And if we don’t teach the next generation how to manage resources, handle leadership, or protect what truly matters, they’ll stumble through wealth the same way blindly.

So, is crude oil in Nigeria a blessing or a curse?
    Maybe it’s neither.
    Maybe it’s just a mirror.

Reflecting what we choose to become: builders or consumers, protectors or looters, visionaries or victims.

It’s time to rewrite the narrative.
The oil may not last forever, but our wisdom, policies, and people can carry this country forward if we make the right decisions.

Let’s protect what’s ours. Let’s invest in our people. Let’s turn ijogbon into insight.

  • I want to farm, but I can't leave the city.

Seyi sat back and thought to himself,
"I’d love to venture into farming... I don’t think any other business can stand the test of time.”

    But then reality hit:
"I don’t want to leave this Lagos life and head to a remote village where there’s no guarantee of safety, no good network, and herdsmen are a constant fear."

Let’s be real many of us are like Seyi.
We want to start something in agriculture...

But leaving the city? Living in fear? Dealing with unstable conditions?
    It’s just not appealing.

    Here’s the good news:
You don’t have to move to the village to succeed in agribusiness.
There are smart, urban-friendly, and profitable opportunities in agriculture you can start right where you are 👇🏽

5 Smart Agribusiness Paths You Can Start Without Farmland

    1. Agro-Processing
Turn raw farm produce into amazing products.
Think: Zobo from dried hibiscus, Tigernut drink, Garri packaging, and more!
Buy fresh produce in bulk, process it, and make profit.

    2. Agrotourism
Remember school excursions? You can create something similar — but for farms.
Partner with farm owners (e.g. in Epe, Mowe), organize paid tours, and attract city dwellers craving nature.
You could even start an agric reality show or weekend farmers market!

    3. Smart Farming
Use small spaces to grow big.
Mushrooms, hydroponics, greenhouses no farmland needed.
This is farming for the city-smart individual.

    4. Agro Marketing
You don’t farm or process but you can SELL!
Use your voice, camera, and phone to market agricultural products online and offline.
Be the plug between producers and consumers. Make commissions. Build a brand.

    5. Agro Logistics
Own a bike, car, or truck?
You can move agricultural goods from point A to B.
Whether it's tomatoes from Kano or frozen fish in Lagos, logistics is gold.
And guess what? Few people brand themselves well in this space.

    Here’s the truth:
Agribusiness is no longer about hoes and cutlasses.
It’s about creativity, innovation, and using what you already have to build what you want.

At Agrodemy, we help you get started the smart way with guidance, training, and baby steps.

Imagine picking up your car keys, getting dressed, starting the engine, but having no idea where you’re going.

You’d drive around in circles, waste fuel, get frustrated, and eventually give up.

That’s exactly what happens when we live, work, or run a business without clear goals.

    No target? No aim.
    No destination? No direction.
    No definition of success?

Then how do you even know when you've won?
    Here’s the truth:

If you can’t name it, you can’t pursue it.
And if you don’t set it, you’ll never reach it.

✅ Whether it’s your finances, business, faith, or purpose; clarity is power.
✅ Goals give your energy a direction.
✅ Vision gives your efforts meaning.

So today, pause and ask yourself:
What exactly am I aiming for?

  • LOOKING UNTO JESUS II

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; Hebrews 12:2b

The phrase ‘Looking unto Jesus’ contains three very important words of salvation, encouragement and direction for daily Christian living. Nicodemus, in his search for the true God and eternal life every human being, approached Jesus for possible understanding. Jesus made the new birth very plain by using an Old Testament illustration of the fiery serpents of brass put on a pole for the Israelites to look upon as recorded in the book of Numbers 21:8-9.

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:14-15

As looking unto the brass serpent on a pole in faith brought healing to the children of Israel in the wilderness, so also, whosoever shall look unto the crucified Christ as the Messiah and the Saviour of the world by faith, shall receive forgiveness of sins and be born again.

From time to time in the rigorous journeys of life, we sometimes find ourselves in a state of tiredness and confusion. At such times, Apostle Paul in Hebrews 12:1-2 admonishes us to run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith for encouragement. We are not to look into Jesus for encouragement only; we are also to look into Jesus as our perfect example, so as to follow in His footsteps.

“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously” 1st Peter 2:21-23

Looking unto other gods for deliverance, healing and salvation has brought untold hardship and loss to many, while looking unto great men and women that are successful in life and ministry has resulted in great disappointment, sorrow and pain. As a matter of fact, this has been a major cause of failure in life, but there is no failure or disappointment in Jesus. Looking unto Jesus can only increase your faith and lead to physical and spiritual upliftment.

We are to look unto Jesus in our daily Christian living as the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the End, who provides us with direction through His word. This also brings us in contact with the divine knowledge, wisdom and power of God. An ordinary person therefore, becomes equipped to do exploit of supernatural dimensions.

LOOKING UNTO JESUS II Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; Hebrews 12:2b The phrase ‘Looking unto Jesus’ contains three very important words of salvation, encouragement and direction for daily Christian living. “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:14-15 As looking unto the brass serpent on a pole in faith brought healing to the children of Israel in the wilderness, so also, whosoever shall look unto the crucified Christ as the Messiah and the Saviour of the world by faith, shall receive forgiveness of sins and be born again. “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously” 1st Peter 2:21-23 Looking unto other gods for deliverance, healing and salvation has brought untold hardship and loss to many, while looking unto great men and women that are successful in life and ministry has resulted in great disappointment, sorrow and pain.
