  • MISSION DISCOVERED

And David said, what have I now done? Is there not a cause? 1st Samuel 17:29

In today’s Bible reading, we see what seems to be a subtle undertone in Eliab’s unprovoked anger against David. Let’s take a closer look at what was actually going on. David happened on the battle scene by accident, because he was only there on an errand to deliver his father’s message to his brothers and the captain of their unit. It is therefore interesting that David was able to identify his mission in the midst of an affair which appeared to be none of his business. He found his purpose in a remote and indirect call to duty. This is a very good example of how the purpose of God becomes manifest in a person’s life. Despite the fact that Eliab railed accusations of pride and naughtiness of heart against David, he did not deny them or defend himself; he only asked his rhetorical question: “Is there not a cause?” A cause is a very important element of purpose, which usually develops into a passion for an objective, making it worth dying for. David so quickly reached the conclusion that confronting Goliath was a cause he was prepared to die for (1st Samuel 17:32).

Looking at the sequence of events in this story, I have a feeling that David was acting under the influence of a power that was far beyond his control. I sincerely believe that he was very conscious of this fact, and he yield himself to the control of the awesome power of God. The power that moved Samson to tear up a lion with his bare hand. I pray that you will receive that power now in the Name of Jesus. David did not only discover his assignment, he also quickly identified with the One who predetermined the whole process. Let’s consider a few of the steps taken by David. First of all, He ignored and discarded all forms of discouragement that came his way through his brother, Eliab, and through King Saul (1st Samuel 17:28 & 33). In addition, he testified and boasted in the Lord of all the wonderful things God had accomplished in his life (1st Samuel 17:34-37). Furthermore, being sure of God’s support, he refused to rely on human technology (1st Samuel 17:39). Beyond all this, he went ahead to identify with God by presenting himself as an emissary of the Lord of hosts. 1st Samuel 17:45 says:

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel. Whom thou hast defied.”

Are you pursuing a cause? Are you a man or a woman with a purpose? If you are ready to identify with the Lord of hosts and employ the same strategy David used, success will be yours.

  • Pave the Way for Victory

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. (Psalm 5:3, NIV)

Did you know that every morning you have the opportunity to set the tone for your whole day? When you put God first and decide to go out with a grateful attitude and a positive frame of mind, not only will you feel better, but you’re going to draw in the good things of God. You are paving the way for success and victory. But if you get up thinking, "Man, life’s a drag. Nothing good ever happens to me. It’s going to be a lousy day," then you are going to attract defeat, failure and mediocrity.

Today, choose to set your day in the right direction. Find something to thank God for. If you have to, make a list of all the good things in your life and post it on your bathroom mirror. As you continually choose to set your mind on Him first thing in the morning, you’ll pave the way to victory and enjoy the good things He has in store for you!

Father, thank You for the gift of today. I choose to set my mind on You. Thank You for Your goodness and mercy and for always preparing the way for victory in Jesus name! Amen.

  • THE GOD FACTOR IN SUCCESS

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: For without me you can do nothing. John 15:5

No branch survives without the vine. A branch that is cut off may maintain its greenness for a while but it is dead from the moment it is cut off.

God never said, “Without me you can do some things” but, “You can do nothing.”

Without Him we cannot succeed but with Him we can do all things (Philippians. 4:13).

If you want to know the helplessness of a branch cut it off from the vine. Likewise, if you want to know the nakedness of a man cut him off from God.

Only those who cleave to the Lord remain alive (Deuteronomy 4:4).

Accomplishment is only possible through permanent relationship with God.

  • Just continuing a discussion from a few days ago with someone who registered and subscribed to a single contract with MinerX. Our conversation highlighted the importance of stepping outside your comfort zone and avoiding a lackadaisical attitude.

I've always strived to learn from every situation I've encountered and share those lessons with others. Recently, I witnessed regret on this person's face as he compared his progress to his friend's success in the MinerX Bitcoin Mining Program. Interestingly, the friend had only $850 and borrowed $150 (from him) to get started, while this individual, who had promised to start soon, intentionally delayed for almost 40 days.

When I inquired about the reason for the delay, he cited past losses in various programs, including the crypto industry. Instead of sympathizing, I encouraged him to share some of these projects and then applied my 5Ps theory. Surprisingly, all of the projects and programs he's been involved in came out negative using the 5Ps.

After an extensive discussion, he acknowledged that his problems stemmed from lack of knowledge, refusal to learn from past mistakes, and failure to use those lessons to improve on future endeavors. This realization emerged when he compared his bitcoin mining progress to his friend's, who had started 40 days earlier. Unfortunately, the friend had only been introduced to the program through him; the friend was merely a tag along who took advantage of the opportunity.

As I always say, failure isn't failure until you refuse to learn from it and leverage those lessons as a stepping stone towards success. True failure lies in refusing to learn and stagnating in the process.

Ironically, as I write this, he just referred a friend who's subscribing to a shared contract. He was inspired and impressed by my target of 21 BTC through MinerX. For him, lost days are irretrievable, and lost profit was primarily due to a lack of knowledge – a result of self-induced ignorance.

Life is a teacher, and we continue to learn. When you need to act - Act!

  • Yesterday, I had a productive conversation with a dear friend. As always, I strive to see my close associates succeed, so I offered some advice.

She works for a financial institution, has a good salary, but feels time-constrained. I suggested investing in promising small businesses. These businesses often lack capital, and a small investment could significantly boost their income.

This came to mind because these small businesses can often double your investment within a year. They primarily lack capital, and with a modest injection of funds, they could potentially triple their annual income.

She acknowledged this but expressed reluctance. This resonated with me, as comfort zones hinder progress for everyone, not just entrepreneurs.

Anything we're doing this year that isn't actively advancing our goals likely stems from being in our comfort zone.

The Comfort Zone is a thief of time!

The Comfort Zone a major obstacle to success.

Don't let it hold you back.

    Take action now!

  • CAN GOD CHANGE HIS MIND? I

And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. Exodus 32:14

Anyone who God is against is doomed already. However, I have good news for you: God can change His mind if the conditions are right for Him to do so. In today’s Bible reading, God was ready to destroy the Israelites and start a new generation, but Moses was successful in his appeal.

What was in Moses' plea that made God change His mind?. First, Moses was pleading from the mountain. He had a special relationship with God. He was closer to God than the rest; he was a favorite. If you have incurred God’s wrath through sin, you stand a better chance of obtaining mercy by getting someone like Moses with a higher level of anointing, to plead on your behalf.

Secondly, Moses was not selfish in his plea. He was always particular about God’s name and reputation.  When you put His interest first, He listens. Moses said: "Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. Exodus 32:12".

Finally, Moses ensured the people repented and forsook their sins. God cannot be fooled. After forgiveness, you cannot continue doing what brought His wrath on you in the first place. Christian leaders, if any member of your flock is going astray, plead with God for such. If the fellow changes, you could discipline them before God does. God still punished the Israelites for transgressing despite not wiping them out.

This is why erring workers in the Church are sometimes suspended we don’t want God to mete out the punishment Himself. Man’s punishment cannot be as fearsome as God’s anger. It is true that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), but God does not want the death of a sinner (Ezekiel 18:23). If you confess your sins, repent and forsake them, God is faithful and just to forgive you and spare you His wrath. Indeed, He will not reject a broken and contrite heart (Psalms 51:17).

If you know you have incurred the wrath of God upon yourself, confess to a spiritual authority over you, who is closer to God, asking him/her to intercede on your behalf.
