It's the end of the first week of work in Sept, 2023. This week we worked on the Blacklist Module, Reserved Usernames Module, Censored Words Module, Adult Image Detection Module and the Affiliate System. Let's reflect a little on each of the Modules.
The blacklist on #Ìtàkùn refers to a list of websites, links, or users that are banned or blocked from accessing the Ìtàkùn social media platform. This is done to prevent malicious content from being shared on the platform. It's a form of security measures to protect our users from being victims of malicious shared content.
In the same way that websites can be blacklisted by Google for having malware hosted on their pages, Ìtàkùn blacklisting occurs when security triggers detect malicious activity, thus placing the infected links on our blacklist. However user blacklist on itakun usually involve violating the platform’s terms of use, posting controversial content, re-posting photos without permission, spamming or using bots, posting questionable photos, and reckless or dangerous posting. A User in this case could be either an Individual or an Organisation.
Reserved usernames Module on Ìtàkùn are usernames that are not available for use by the general public. These usernames are usually reserved for specific purposes, such as to prevent impersonation or to maintain the integrity of the platform.
Censored words refer to words or phrases that are prohibited from being used on Ìtàkùn.
